Located in Kettle Hill Road, Eastling, the Village Hall is an attractive modern building which opened in September 1998.
Facilities include: large main hall, small meeting room, modern kitchen and toilets (including disabled persons facilities), a lawned garden area and car parking for up to 50 vehicles. The garden area is large enough to erect your own marquee if required.
Village Hall Partial Re-Opening (Risk Assessment Updated 25th September 2020)
After carrying out a full Risk Assessment, and ensuring that the Government's "Re-Opening Checklist" has been satisfactorily completed, the Trustees are pleased to announce the partial re-opening of the Village Hall from Sunday 16th August
The Village Hall will only, in the first instance, be available for hire by professional organizations/groups affiliated to regional or national organizations who have separate insurance and can provide their own Risk Assessment for using the Hall.
All Hirers will, in addition, be required to sign a Hirers Agreement, wherein they accept the normal Conditions of Use along with the new Special Conditions of Hire during COVID-19 as well as the conditions outlined in the VH Risk Assessment.
The Trustees will closely monitor the use of the Hall when it re-opens and will, when they feel the time is appropriate and in line with Government guidance, look to allow more general use of the Hall.
Main Hall Eastling Residents £8.50 per hour, Non-Residents £10 per hour. All day parties by negotiation but generally £100+, Weddings £350, Meeting room £5 per hour.
